Who We Are

The Desert Hot Springs Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, acquiring, and displaying the local history of Desert Hot Springs. We are a Non-Profit 501(C)(3).

Our lovingly restored building serves as the heart of our organization. It houses our extensive collection of historical documents and artifacts, hosts our monthly board meetings and is open on a limited basis for public tours.

We invite you to step back in time and explore the history preserved within these walls. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a researcher, or simply curious about our local story, the Rock House offers a unique opportunity to connect with the past.

We’re Open!

The Historic Rock House welcomes visitors most Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., closed the month of August. Please check our calendar to confirm availability before planning your visit.
